When she took the charge as minister of Civil Supplies she was allotted the same office in Room No. 704 in the J-block of secretariat which was previously used by her husband Paritala Ravindra when he was minister during TDP regime to keep his memories alive. According to her, it was her luck to get a ministry which will allow her to feed the poor and the needy in the state. She made her first signature on extending the ration coupons by 6 more months. She became quite emotional when she got a chance to serve for her state. She feels that god has given her an opportunity as well as the responsibility to do something for her region and people and complete her husband’s work and dream. People loved her husband Paritala Ravindra and also wholeheartedly accepted Sunitha as minister of Civil Supplies. When Sunitha took the oath, for full five minutes crowd clapped and cheered for her.
